MAC

I cannot activate my Digital

Camera by sliding the Power

Switch.

Insufcient battery power or

batteries are missing.

Recharge your battery or place your

battery into the camera.

Symptom Problem Solution

I cannot upload images to the

computer.

Connection failure. Check all cable connections are

secured.

Camera suddenly powers off. Auto Power Function activated

Batteries are dead.

Turn the camera on

Recharge your battery.

Image is not recorded when the

shutter button is pressed.

Camera is turned off

Flash unit is charging

Memory is full.

Turn the camera on

Wait until ash unit charging nishes

Delete images you no longer need, or use

another memory card.

Camera powers off during self-

timer countdown.

Batteries are dead. Recharge your battery.

LCD screen image is out of

focus.

Macro Mode being used for scenery

or portraits

Normal focus being used for macro

images.

Use normal focus for scenery and

portraits

Use Macro mode for macro images.

Recorded pictures are not

saved in memory.

Camera powers off before the save

operation is complete

Removing the memory card before

the save operation is complete.

If the battery is exhausted, recharge

your battery

Do not remove the memory card before

the save operation is complete.

Battery door is not closed. Make sure the battery door is securely

closed.

Image does not display on the

LCD screen.

A SD card with non-DCIF images

(recorded with another camera)

is loaded.

PDC 5350 camera can not display non-

DCIF images.

The camera cannot take

pictures.

The ash is recharging.

The SD card is not formatted

correctly.

The camera is set to the Playback

mode.

Wait for completing recharging the ash.

The SD card may be damaged. Please

use a new card.

Set the camera in Auto, A/S/M or Video

mode.
